While Virtuozzo licensing key errors don’t generally occur, they may if you are re-using your existing Virtuozzo license on either another server or a server that has recently been re-installed. The error that you might be seeing is:
Cannot install new license: KA server failed (License key VZ.XXXXXXXX.0002 is already activated)
The aforementioned error means, that the key that you are using, has been bound to the hardware ID of the server. To release this, you’ll need to get your key re-issued. Please follow the step-by-step directions for reissuance outlined below:
- Please go to the contact us section of our website
- Fill in all the relevant information required
- Please indicate that you’d like to have your Virtuozzo key re-issued
- Finally, click on the "Submit Information" button
